Are You Perpetuating Mediocrity?

Someone recently referred to me as a change agent. That surprised me as I never thought of myself that way. I just simply try to leave people and places better than I found them.

I have never been comfortable settling for mediocrity when I know there is a better way. As you work to create change, you will encounter people (status quo) who want to keep things the same even though that is essentially being frozen in time.

They just feel safer staying in their comfort zone to the detriment of themselves and others. This fear and need to control is dangerous. It is a one-way ticket to complacency and irrelevance!

Commit to innovation even when it is uncomfortable. This will protect you from mediocrity and keep you and your leadership and everything you do relevant and impactful!
