Are You Ready?

I remember someone telling me that “We shoot from the hip around here!” That made me wonder about their ability to operate in excellence without planning, preparation, or strategy. If you always operate without preparation, how can you be great?

Although I am not against spontaneity, it is important to be prepared to seize opportunities…even if you aren’t aware that they are on the horizon.

When you prepare for the things you want to accomplish, you will be able to ‘take the ball and run with it’. This approach beats sitting on the sidelines because you weren’t ready to seize your opportunity!
