Painful ending or new beginning?

Recently, I had separate conversations with a seasoned leader and a young mentee who are facing tough circumstances. I challenged both to consider if there was an opportunity to shift to something greater.

I can remember a time when a job ended, and I was devastated…but little did I know that my painful ending would put me on a path to discover my “Why” and to walk in my passion and purpose. This painful situation positioned me to make a greater impact in the world.

Often when one door closes…it forces us to find the courage to open new doors and blaze new trails. These paths lead to new discoveries that produce joys and adventures never experienced in our comfort zones.
