Got a Big Ego?

I once met a leader who told me that he was ego free. His claim left me speechless and shaking my head at his lack of self-awareness. The reality is that his ego was so large that it could have caused a solar eclipse!

I believe that it is important to have confidence in your abilities. However, when you get so full of yourself that you try to make others feel small that is a problem!

We all should strive to take up the right amount of space in the world and not deflate or overstate our importance. If you have a massive ego…it is nothing but overdressed insecurity!

No matter how important you think you are…strive to have humility and be open to getting to the root of your masked insecurity. After all, the humbled will be exalted, and the exalted will be humbled!
