Great Leaders Inspire…Period!

In August of 2016, I advanced to the 3rd and final step to become the leader of Homeless Children’s Education Fund. In preparation for the interview…. they told me that the 3 finalists would have to do a 15-minute presentation (without notes) on either: fundraising, advocacy, or leadership.

I chose leadership as that is my passion. I started off my presentation with the quote:

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”

Although it is debated where this quote came from…it is a powerful leadership quote. This quote articulates the essence and impact of inspirational leadership, which is transformational.

If you are a positional leader who can only leverage your title to get people to follow you, your leadership is weak and limited.

Moreover, if your leadership inspires those around you to do more and become more…your leadership will not only increase the bottom line, but it will also leave people, places, and the world better than you found it! Great Leadership inspires…period!

By the way…they loved my leadership speech and hired me to be their inspirational leader…. I hope I am making them proud😁!
