I have heard people say that they don’t see color and my response usually is, “How do you get dressed in the morningš?”
The reality is that most can see color unless you are legally colored blind. It is OK to see and appreciate our differences, but it is never acceptable to discriminate or mistreat others because of race, background, or other differences.
As we celebrate on MLK Day and any other day let’s love everyone and do everything we can to help all people advance and live a life of opportunity, equality and treat everyone with dignity and respect!
If you choose to judge me, let it be based on my character and not the color of my skin!
At the end of the day, we are all part of the human race! When we understand this…we will have true unity and equality in the world! I hope to see that day!
