What is Free but Priceless?

I remember attending a meeting and one of the participants speaking to a young lady in a very disrespectful tone and moving her to tears. Unfortunately, this man has a history of toxic behavior.

During one instance I had enough and immediately addressed and put a stop to his bad behavior. Although she thanked me for intervening, I told her that it is the least I could do!

Fortunately, I don’t run into people like him very often. However, I wonder why some find it necessary to be rude when kindness is the better option.

Kindness does not cost anything, but its effect is priceless! It leaves others feeling valued and refreshed and allows the person giving kindness to create a more positive environment where more bridges than walls are built. Being rude does the opposite.

Always seek opportunities to be kind even when others choose to be rude.
