Leadership Is?

When I reflect on the fact that I have a team who believes in me and is willing to follow me (not only because of my position) because they trust my leadership and know that I have their best interest at hand, I consider myself privileged.

I did not always want to be a leader and tried to run from it many times, but it continued to seek and find me. I eventually embraced my calling.

I count myself blessed to lead others and don’t take it for granted. It’s an honor, privilege and responsibility of a leader to inspire a shared vision, model the way and encourages the heart of the people they are here to serve!

The more I learn about leadership, the more I realize the responsibility to lead effectively. The way you lead speaks volumes about your character and efficacy and can have a negative or positive impact on others. I choose the latter. If you are leading don’t take it lightly as people are watching and impacted by your every action or inaction!
