I remember a young man in a wheelchair talking about how it surprises him to see so many people who have no disability function as if they have one.
His comments made me reflect on the limits we put on ourselves. We often have so much ability but are limited because we cannot see what we are fully capable of. There are many reasons for these self-imposed limitations: negative thoughts, fear of failure, lack of confidence, etc. However, our thoughts are powerful, and we must practice replacing negative thoughts with positive affirmations.
As you move toward achieving your goals, embrace a fearless mindset that anything is possible. The more you focus on your strengths, abilities and positive affirmations, the more likely you will shift from a deficit mindset to an anything is possible mindset!
