No Trophies Needed!

Recently I had the pleasure to meet civil rights legend, author, philosopher, and humanitarian, Dr. Cornel West.

I loved his perspective on greatness not being measured by trophies but your ability to uplift and positively impact humanity.

I can’t agree more with Dr. West! Trophies and awards are nice gestures of appreciation, but I certainly don’t need them!

What puts a smile on my face is knowing that my actions and life have positively impacted others!

Be encouraged today, if you don’t receive public recognition for your work/service. The real trophies are the lives impacted by your service. That is what counts and makes you great! In due season, you will reap your rewards!
