It frustrates me that we often have the power to change something or a situation but sit by idly or passively for fear of failure, leaving our comfort zone or worrying about what others may think, etc.
We then turn around and complain about our situation…when we have the power to change the very things we complain about!
I used to complain that I wanted to change my workout routine. A friend invited me to this cardio pump class, and I initially refused for fear of embarrassment or lack of coordination…especially as one of the only males in the class! I decided to give it a try. It was hilariously awkward at first, but I moved passed my fears and embarrassment and eventually caught on and improved my overall fitness.
This week evaluate some things that you have the power to change and simply exercise that power despite your fears. It’s that simple!
