A few weeks ago, I was doing one of my 5-mile walks/runs and was trying to run up a very steep hill. Mid-way through, I was grunting very loudly as I struggled to push my way up. I was so loud that I was surprised that I was not charged with disturbing the peace! Suddenly, amidst my agony I heard a man in an old Antonio Brown Steeler’s Jersey shout, “You can do it! You are running for an 80-yard touchdown!” That put a big smile on my face. I shouted, “Thanks…I’m pushing and believing!”
What that man did for me may not seem like much for some, but it gave me the energy and motivation to try even harder. Everyone needs a little encouragement every now and then and especially during these strange and unpredictable times.
Although it is important to practice social distancing, it should never stop you from connecting and encouraging those who are struggling to climb the hills of life. You should never be too busy to encourage others. Reach out to friends, family, co-workers, and people in your community and give them a word of encouragement. Your kind words may be just what they need to keep pushing! Everybody can motivate and encourage others…you do not have to be a motivational speaker😊! After all, a little encouragement goes a long way!

You are an amazing young man. Reminded me of a school guard asking me why I always walked with my head down. I told her my father thinks I’m I’m ugly, she said “hold your head up sweetheart, you’re beautiful!” It was her voice that made me believe her and I started walking with my head up.
You are a BLESSING!❤️
Wow…what a powerful story! Thanks for sharing and yes…you are beautiful!
