Where Is Grace?

My wife and I had a discussion about how judgmental our society has become. If people make one mistake, they are immediately condemned, and empathy is often elusive. The exception is when we or someone close to us does the same infarction.

I am not against holding people accountable but would love to see more empathy and kindness extended to our fellow human beings. Can you imagine a world where we focus more on building people up than tearing them down?

None of us is perfect. We may one day find ourselves in need of the same grace that we refuse to extend to others.

Starting today…resolve to extend more grace. This decision will empower others to move forward and become the best versions of themselves.
